It’s a little late but I thought I’d share with you what I wore on Children’s day. I was invited to the Nakenohs Children’s day celebration to read to the kids. A percentage of the proceeds from the event went towards Hospitals for Humanity, an NGO that operates on children with heart conditions. I was definitely excited to be involved in such a worthwhile cause.
My pants and heels are from my favourite brand – Gucci. I also have to mention that I have a T-shirt line coming out soon in case you missed out on my announcement on Instagram.
Today I’ll be featuring a piece from Lisa Folawiyo’s diffusion line ‘J Label’. I paired the stunning print kimono with high waisted pleated pants from Chloé, a red YSL Clutch & my sling-back kitten heels from Dior!
It’s another beautiful Sunday! Today, I’ll be featuring these Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ sandals in gleaming gold leather! These babies come with three straps and a zip at the back for extra security. Aren’t they absolutely glorious?!
Looking for something to jazz up your outfit? These are available at the Florence H Boutique now!
Don’t forget to leave a comment below letting me know how you would style these?
Back again with another Soleful Sunday. Today I’m featuring these stunning Giuseppe Zanotti suede sandals with crystal flowers! I love how these shoes make a subtle statement. They’re black sandals, so they go with anything; and these stunning floral crystal embellishments are everything and more. Perfect to elevate what could be a sombre look!
These and more are available at the Florence H Boutique!
It’s Sunday, so you already know what that means! Today we’re featuring Sophia Webster’s Chiara Butterfly Suede ankle-strap sandal with iridescent wing detail. Ardent readers of my blog will know that I’m a fan of metallic toned heels when it comes to accessorising because they are the safest, especially when you want to override the indecision that comes with colour play.
This is an open toe heel, with an adjustable ankle strap. It also features a patent leather trim and a leather lining and sole.
Not a fan of iridescent colours? We also stock a variation of the heel in Rose gold. It features a rose gold heel with laser cut angel wing details.
You can shop these and other fabulous shoes at Florence H.
Weekdays are the worst, that’s indisputable. It’s important to remember, in all that mayhem, to take care of yourself. Here are some straight forward things you can try before bedtime to wake up looking refreshed and gorgeous in the morning
Remove your makeup before bed.
The most important thing to do to wake up looking fresh is to remove all of your makeup before bedtime. That means leftover mascara, lip colour—everything. Skipping this will clog your pores and leave free radicals on the skin, which can cause acne, create a duller complexion, and contribute to aging. We don’t want that
Put on a thick layer of moisturizer all over the face and neck.
Wake up to supple and well moisturised skin in the morning
Pin your hair back
Your hair contains oils and dirt that can get on your face and pillowcase and cause breakouts. Braid your hair, pin it up into a bun, or wear a satin hair bonnet to keep it off your face as you sleep.
Get a Silk/ Satin Pillowcase
This point flows from the last. Not only do you want to protect your face, you want to keep your hair’s overall health through the week. You can try sleeping on a silk or satin pillowcase as fibers on most cotton pillows are rough against the hair cuticles. Don’t want to splurge on silk? Changing a cotton or linen pillowcase every one to two days can also bring an improvement.
Get eight hours of sleep
Beauty rest is not a myth people! Catching a good night’s sleep can really effect the way you look. For those who suffer from dark circles, they occur because a lack of adequate rest compromises your body’s circulatory system and you get stagnant blood in the vessels under the eyes because it hasn’t properly drained. Lack of sleep also causes your skin to look dull and tired because your circulation has been impaired.
For those that can’t help but stand out: these glitter-encrusted leather sandals are bold, irreverent and fun. The streamlined shape shows a sophisticated sensibility as well.
Its 3 inch heels and metallic tones make it a stylish & comfortable addition to any wardrobe.

Another look I’ve been loving this month is this exquisite piece from French fashion house ‘Rochas’. I love the aesthetic of the brand as it aims to make simple, understated yet elegant clothing. I paired it with a new favourite of mine, the Nile bracelet bag by Chloé. Be sure to leave a comment if you love this look!
Remember, simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.
I thought I would share with you some pieces from my wardrobe I’ve been loving this month! Yellow is a colour that exudes positivity and energy. It’s definitely a favourite now that the rainy season is upon us.
